DIGITAL LIFE DESIGN

With the presence of highly creative individuals (although uneven), was launched in Munich, a new edition of Digital Life and Design : DLD (online conferences on global issues, information and culture: 20-22/2008). Participate in it : J. Craig Venter, Richard Dawkins, Naomi Campbell, Paulo Coehlo, Richard Schumacher and other stars of science and life. Of the many ideas launched in DLD, were interesting the issued by Venter and Dawkins. Venter, foresee sending upon request (via, e-mail) genetic codes designed to assemble microbes and/or humans. Venter spoke of a new vision of the world, focused on genes. When certain sector of the public said that number one world's threat is climate change, Venter replied that bugs built to demand could relatively easy eliminate the threatening CO2, with which the same public accepted that after all, life is also technology. At hearing this, Dawkins said that mixture at random of wild genetic pools, could produce unpredictable consequences (devastating damage in environments not prepared to hold it).

CONFERENCIA: VIDA, DISENO DIGITAL.

Con la presencia de personalidades altamente creativas, aunque dispares, se inició en Munich, una nueva edición de Digital Life and Design -DLD- (Conferencias online, sobre problemas globales, la información y la cultura.20-22/2008). Participan en ella, J. Craig Venter, Richard Dawkins, Naomi Campbell, Paulo Coehlo, Richard Schumacher y otras luminarias de la ciencia y de la vida. De las muchas ideas propaladas en DLD, resultaron interesantes las emitidas por Venter y Dawkins. Venter, augura el envio a pedido (via e mail), de códigos genéticos tendientes a ensamblar microbios y/o seres humanos. Venter habló de una nueva visión del mundo, centrada en genes. Cuando cierto sector del público, dejó en claro que la amenaza mundial numero 1, era el calentamiento global, Venter dejó entrever que microbios a diseño, podian eliminar facilmente el CO2, con lo que cierto sector del respetable, termino aceptando que al fin y al cabo, la vida tambien es tecnologia. Al oir esto, Dawkins dijo que la mezcla al azar de pooles genéticos salvajes, podrian producir consecuencias impredecibles (daño devastador, en medios ambientes no preparados para sostenerlos).
