NATURE, RELOAD

When some years ago appeared Internet and the first written orders online, few scientific journals of elite, dared to publish their articles on the website. Shortly before, a significant number of scientists argued that most scientific articles must be of public domain and not just in power of an elite. PLOS and Proceedings of the Annals of the National Academy of Science/USA, dared to take that step, launching to the virtual space (some years ago), comprehensive articles written by the most important scientists of the world, starting a revolution, comparable to the first books and dissemination of ideas launched and printed by Gutenberg. Nature, which until recently, published articles online (since 1950), has just given a twist to its potential by allowing today -online way- reading all its files (4/Nov/1869: discovery of DNA, Helio, fullerenes, laser holography, discoveries in paleoantropology, discussions of the theory of evolution and relativity, telepathy and a lot of discoveries of physics). Not only that: Nature, accompanying its articles with audios, videos and all multimedia available. Philip Campbell (editor in chief of Nature), said that in 2050, a brain chip will allow humans carry articles of Nature in their brains. The entire science updated in our brain in just a second. What is a milestone and democratizes the knowledge.

NATURE RECARGADO

Cuando hace algunos años, aparecieron Internet y los primeros envios escritos online, pocos journals cientificos de élite, se atrevieron a publicar sus articulos en la web. Poco antes un importante número de cientificos abogaba porque los articulos cientificos fuesen de dominio público y no solo de una élite. PLOS y Proceedings of the National Academy of Science/USA, se atrevieron a dar ese paso, lanzando al espacio virtual (desde hace algunos años), articulos completos redactados por los mas importantes cientificos del mundo, iniciando una revolución, comparable a las primeras ediciones de libros y difusión de ideas propaladas por la imprenta de Gutemberg. Nature, que hasta hace publicaba articulos completos online (desde 1950), acaba de dar una vuelta de tuerca a sus posibilidades al permitir -desde hoy- la lectura online de todos sus archivos (4/Nov/1869: descubrimiento del ADN, del Helio, fullerenos, laser, holografia, descubrimientos en paleoantropologia, discusiones sobre la teoria de la evolucion y la relatividad, telepatia y muchisimos descubrimientos de fisica). No solo eso : Nature, acompaña sus articulos, con audios, videos y toda la parafernalia multimediática disponible. Philip Campbell (editor en jefe de Nature), dice que en el 2050, un chip cerebral permitirá a todo humano que lo desee portar los articulos de Nature en sus cerebros. La totalidad de la ciencia actualizada en nuestro poder, en un tris. Lo que marca un hito y democratiza el saber.
