In Britain, the Minister Jim Night (Children, Schools and Education), makes strenuous efforts to ensure that 35% of british teachers (only 20% of them have a degree of specialization in science), be specialized in different areas of science. For this task, the Minister, has pledged financial support from some companies such as Astra Zeneca, IBM and Cisco. The Minister Program, also seeks to promote early retirement of some luminaries of British science, to teach science alive to next generations of british students. For Night, if UK wants to remain a leader in science, it is necessary from an early age to promote the formation of engineers, mathematicians, biologists, physics, chemicals, etc. It is wanted also, that math, physics, chemistry etc., must be taught only by mathematicians, physicists, chemicalists, etc..

En Gran Bretaña, el Ministro de Educación Jim Night hace denodados esfuerzos, para que un 35 % de los maestros británicos (actualmente, solo 20% de ellos, posee un grado de especialista en ciencia), se especializen en distintos tópicos de ciencia. Para ello ha comprometido el apoyo económico de algunas compañias como Astra Zeneca, IBM y Cisco. El programa ministerial, tambien intenta promover el retiro temprano de algunas luminarias de la ciencia británica, a fin de que enseñen ciencia viva a las siguientes generaciones de alumnos británicos. Para Night, si GB desea continuar siendo lider en ciencia, debe promover desde temprana edad la formación de ingenieros, matemáticos, biólogos, fisicos, quimicos, etc. Se pretende asimismo, que las matemáticas, fisica quimica etc, sean enseñadas, solo por matemáticos, fisicos, quimicos, etc.
