INTERNET EVERYWHERE
HIGH SPEED INTERNET FOR ALL
Many countries
(EU: Galileo GNSS, US: GPS Systems, Russia: GLONASS, China: BELDOW ½. COMPASS),
established since 1990, satellite networks (24, on average), interconnected and
located at high altitude, for determining positions of objects with high
accuracy (1 m), useful for military purposes. Now, Sir Richard Branson, founder
of Virgin Galactic, assimilating the
idea of positioning, will employ his rocketry enterprise: Virgin Galactic's Launcher One, to crystallize
the idea of the designers of: One Web
to place in space 3000 interconnected micro-satellites (One web Ltd, Project), to provide internet, wi-fi and mobile phones services to 60% of the world population
(data from International Telecommunications Union), without internet access for
various reasons, mostly economic. Branson, hope to start the project in 2017, when
will be available: a) 648 micro-satellites scheduled to fly at low altitude. b)
The support of several governments because it is needed to
invest a lot of money, the project is not profitable initially, being slow the
rate of monetary return. c) A network of many micro-antennas
d) Security to offer high speed internet at low prices. For now, Branson
struggle to have ready his rocket system (Virgin
Galactic's Launcher One), to carry micro-satellites and overcome the
interference of other space satellites and the difficulties to control and
encrypt bank transfers.
INTERNET de ALTA VELOCIDAD para TODOS
Varios países (Unión
Europea: Galileo GNSS, US GPS
Systems, Rusia: GLONASS, China: BELDOW ½.
COMPASS),
