Action videogames :good for our eyes

We have written in several opportunities that we participate of the physiologic maxim that settles down that: "the function makes to the organ." Who uses the sense from the view to the maximum will have advantage in this aspect on other humans. There they are like test the German race driver Michael Schumacher (world champion of F - 1) who managed child´s karts, adapting from early age their eyes to cerebral diverse circuits and now to myriad of children from all over the world training with active video games. With security Schumacher and these children, will suffer abundance of nervous circuits in certain cerebral areas, the same ones that could be inheritable after several generations, which in fact will be beneficial. We emphasize this because now a team of the University of Rochester led by the professor Daphne Bavelier, after studying to 2 groups of students a) one that saw daily action videogames (Unreal tournament, Halo, etc), during several months and other b) that saw videogames less active, concluded that those that saw action videogames, improved their vision 20% according to the usual tests that routinely the oculists carry out. Evolutionarily, the eyes were one of the pillars of the cerebral development. The action videogames take the visual system to their limits, as long as the cerebral circuits are adjusted it, interacting in turn with many activities of daily life, Bavelier says. The scientist assures that these results will be part of a new way of ocular treatment.
