HIGGS BOSON

Today, at the International Conference on High Energy Phyics (ICHEP), that takes place in Paris we will know in a plenary session the techniques and experiments carried out in the Tevatron Particle Collider at Fermilab (US), at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC/Francia) and in the accelerator of particles Hera (Hamburg), in relation to the possible discovery of Higgs boson. Something is known in this respect, since well studied particles W and Z, contain parts of Higgs boson. At the moment it is not clear how close are we of this fundamental discovery.

BOSON DE HIGGS

Hoy dia en la International Conference on High Energy Phyics (ICHEP), que se celebra en Paris se conoceran y discutirán en una sesion plenaria los resultados combinados de técnicas y experimentos realizados en el Tevatron Particle Collider at Fermilab (US), el Large Hadron Collider (LHC/Francia) y el acelerador de partículas Hera (Hamburgo), en relación al posible descubrimiento del bosón de Higgs. Algo se conoce al respecto, ya que las particulas W y Z, solidamente estudiadas, estan constituidas por partes del boson de Higgs. De momento no es claro cuan cerca estamos de este fundamental descubrimiento.
