Retinal optogramm

For but of 100 years, some researchers try to identify criminals examining the images recorded in the retina of the victims few minutes or hours after having happened their deaths (Optography -images between life and death- fixed in the retina by photochemical action of light, showing white images on a purple or red background). In 1975, Evangelos Alexandridis and the student Kloth Thomas Mann experienced with rabbits, anesthetizing them and projecting in their eyes different slides during 2 minutes, after which they killed them. Then, they maintained the eyes of dead rabbits then in Potassium-aluminum solutions blended with saline. After removing the retina, they placed it on balls of white porcelain, analyzing them, next. The first optogram of this type showed the number 75, other scenes and until a Salvador Dalí drawn, outlined previously by Alexandridis. The researcher concludes that successes of this type were only possible with very intense light and prolonged exposition of the scenes (included the criminal, given the case). Of another side, the optograms were of short duration (up to 5 minutes). Contrarily and according to the artist Ogbourne optograms are technically impossible and always vague.

Desde hace mas de 100 años, algunos investigadores intentan identificar criminales escudriñando las imagenes grabadas en la retina de las victimas pocos minutos o horas después de ocurridas sus muertes (Optografia: imágenes blancas fijadas en la retina -entre la vida y la muerte- de color blanco con fondo purpura o rojo). En 1975, Evangelos Alexandridis y el estudiante Kloth Thomas Mann experimentaron con conejos, anestesiándolos y proyectando en sus ojos diferentes slides durante 2 minutos, tras los cuales los mataban. Mantenian luego los ojos del conejo muerto en soluciónes de Potasio-Aluminio, mezcladas con soluccion salina. Tras remover la retina, la colocaban sobre bolas de porcelana blanca, analizándolas a continuación. El primer optograma de este tipo mostró el numero 75, otras escenas y hasta un bosquejo de Salvador Dalí dibujado previamente por Alexandridis. El investigador concluyó que exitos de este tipo solo eran posibles con luz muy intensa y exposición prolongada de las escenas (incluido el criminal, dado el caso). De otro lado, los optogramas son de corta duración (hasta 5 minutos). Contrariamente y segun el artista Ogbourne los optogramas son técnicamente imposibles y siempre vagos.
