NEW PHYSIC?
While we watched a argentinian video of TN, we perceived the happiness of several argentinian scientists gathered around the offices of the newly inaugurated Auger observatory. Although many look older and used costumes so simple, we feel into them a great enthusiasm for having detected several cosmic particles in the last 2 years, according to them coming from the galaxy Alpha Centauri. The Auger, built with financial support from 17 countries, prides itself on being cheap and succesful. While the CERN cost billions of dollars and fails constantly, the Auger cost just $ 50 million. Yet both are working the same theme -high-energy particles- with the difference that those obtained in the Auger have higher energies (1020 EeV: hundreds of billions of billions of electrovolts, surpassing the GZK limit), than that obtained by the CERN. Argentine newspapers say their returnees scientifics remain without the opportunities they deserve. One thinks that Auger is a great opportunity for them.
The Auger functions starts at 100%, in argentinian pampas analyzing shower of cosmic particles measuring their energies, capturing their fluorescent light emitted after they excite the N during their clash against the atmosphere and land captured with the help of 1600 Cherenkov detectors (ultrapure water, which measures the flow of energy of electrons, photons, and muons). 4 stations each equipped with 6 telescopes detected the fluorescent light. Above the 1019 EeV, the frequency of fall of particles in the Earth's atmosphere is 1 per km2 per year, while 100 eV, is less than 1 per km2, particle each/100 years. Some particles reach the earth spreading up into 20 km2. For that reason, the Auger study cosmic ray beam over large areas (the size of Paris). With this hybrid detector is expected to answer certain questions: do these particles come from black holes? Represent they traces of dark matter of the universe? Will they change the standard model of physics of subatomic particles? Why they reach so extreme energies?.

NUEVA FISICA?
