VERY CLOSE to HIGGS BOSON

First evidence of the existence of Higgs boson (massive hypothetical elementary particle predicted by the standard model of particle physics, which would give mass to other elementary particles), came from statistics drawn from particle collisions from the LHC (Large Hadron Collider/Geneva), in December 2011. By then, the data showed that Higgs boson, stood in a mass range of 125 GeV (giga-electron volts). Although today, official spokesmen of CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), deny the interpretation of such data, a few days ago, Peter Woit (mathematician/Columbia University), wrote in his blog that new data (2012), coming from experiments performed in the Atlas and CMS compartments of the LHC, confirmed the data of 2011 with greater statistical certainty. Perhaps in one month in the 36th International Conference on High Energy Physics 2012/Melbourne, Australia, would be officially explained the data on the record. A combination of data from 2011 and 2012 could give more significance to them, especially if they reach a 5 sigma level.
