It happens by knowing math (Sucede por saber matemáticas).

In the Latin American context the Peruvians do not walk very well in mathematical contests. For that reason it comforts to know that 4 peruvian (students all), find obtained individual silver medals in one recent Latin American competition of math made in Colombia. It is not the World-Wide Olimpiad (IMO), is either much, but it is something. The Greeks made competitions to solve geometric problems and in century XVI - thanks to monetary stimuli- self-taught and shrewd card players (Nicolo Fontana:Tartaglia), would give solution to cubic- in narrow streets and the universities by means of algebraic methods.

In which fields are the mathematics applied? are they infallibles?.Exist pure mathematicians, like Kurt Godel, Samuel Eilenberg, Lovatchevsky, Ramanujan, Riemmann, Gottlob Frege, which they awake, they eat, they speak and they lay down with math, dedicated to extend its borders, science and art in this case nonsubject to demonstration, creators of infinite geometries and zero dimensions and, other apply mathematics, whose contributions have been inserted in all fields of the daily life, in games, the computers, the maps, topológic spaces, cybernetics, astronomy, atomic physics, statistics of possibilities and probabilities, principles of acceleration,etc. Remarkable exponents of this heading are: Newton, Leibniz, Maxwell, Gaussian, Von Newmann, etc. The mathematics, have had in the last years 2 deaths and 2 resurrections. 1) first, when Wittgenstein demonstrates to Russell that the logical one is the mother - and therefore superior to the mathematics and 2) the second when Godel, demonstrates in a theorem contained in an average page that all mathematical system locks up certain important propositions of which it cannot be said with absolute certainty, that they are certain or false, burying those who (Pitágoras, Euclides), defended the truth or, absolute falsification, of its propositions.

Sucede por saber matemáticas.

En el contexto latinoamericano los peruanos no andan muy bien en justas matemáticas. Por eso reconforta saber que 4 compatriotas (escolares todos), hallan obtenido sendas medallas de plata en una reciente competencia iberoamericana de matemáticas realizada en Colombia. No es la Olimpíada mundial (IMO), tampoco es mucho, pero algo és. Los griegos realizaban competencias para resolver problemas geométricos y en el siglo XVI –merced a estímulos monetarios- autodidactas y fulleros jugadores de cartas (Nicolo Fontana:Tartaglia), darían solución a las cúbicas -en callejas y universidades- mediante métodos algebraicos.

¿En que se aplican las matemáticas?¿son infalibles?.Existen matemáticos puros, como Kurt Godel, Samuel Eilenberg, Lovatchevsky, Ramanujan, Riemmann, Gottlob Frege, que se despiertan, comen, hablan y acuestan con las matemáticas, dedicados a extender sus fronteras, ciencia y arte en este caso no sujeto a la demostración, creadores de geometrías infinitas y cero dimensiones y, otros matemáticos aplicativos, cuyos aportes han sido introducids en todo los campos de la vida diaria, en los juegos, las computadoras, los mapas, espacios topológicos, cibernética, astronomia, física atomica, estadísticas de posibilidades y probabilidades, principios de aceleración. Exponentes notables de este rubro son : Newton, Leibniz, Maxwell, Gauss,Von Newmann,etc. Las matemáticas, no obstante han tenido en los últimos años 2 muertes y 2 resurrecciones. 1) la primera, cuando Wittgenstein le demuestra a Russell que la lógica es madre -y por lo tanto superior- a las matemáticas y la 2) segunda cuando Godel, demuestra en un teorema contenido en página y media que todo sistema matemático encierra ciertas proposiciones importantes de las que no puede decirse con absoluta certeza, que sean ciertas o falsas, enterrando a quienes (Pitágoras, Euclides), defendían la verdad o, falsedad absoluta, de sus proposiciones.
