THIRD LEVEL SELF- REPLICATORS

An overflowing Susan Blackmore (Psichology/University of Surrey/To see Video TED), sustains the existence of a third replicator, represented by a series of sophisticated current copying machines. The first replicators (R1), were the genes, base of biological evolution and later the memes (R2), base of cultural evolution. The third replicator (R3)are copying machines that produce lots of copies lightly different to the original ones, few of which survives after being copied. Google copies, copies, varies, varies, selects and select, without help of human, without help of human, in similar way to the work carried out by the genes (to copy, to mute, to select many times).

For genes, we, animals and plants are hardly their simple transporter vehicles. Machines copy, select and recombine the information, sending them to other machines, with slight variants and spontaneous designs. Machines have ended up being self-sufficient. They have grown beyond our control. They serve to the web that every day resembles a broadly interconnected vascular system (billions of PCs, connected in trillions of ways). The entirety Earth threatens to become a replicator of third level, with possibilities of sending information to other galaxies.

AUTO-REPLICADORES DE TERCER NIVEL

Los terceros replicadores (R3), son máquinas copiadoras que producen lotes de copias ligeramente diferentes a las originales , de las que pocas sobreviven trás ser copiadas. Google copia, copia, copia, varia, varia, selecciona, selecciona, sin ayuda de humanos, sin ayuda de humanos, de modo similar al trabajo realizado por los genes (copiar, mutar, seleccionar muchas veces).

Para los genes, nosotros, los animales y las plantas somos apenas sus simples vehículos transportadores. Las máquinas copian, seleccionan y recombinan la información, enviándolas a otras máquinas, con ligeras variantes y espontáneos diseños. Las máquinas han llegado a ser autosuficientes, han crecido más allá de nuestro control. Sirven a la web, que cada día se parece más a un sistema vascular ampliamente interconectado (billones de PCs, conectadas en trillones de modos). La totalidad de la Tierra amenaza convertirse en un replicador de tercer nivel, con posibilidades de enviar información a otras galaxias.
