CREATIONISM VERSUS EVOLUTION

The Catholic Church condemned Galileo for asserting that the sun was the center of our solar system. Later the catholic church, claimed that the Earth had an age of 5000 years and that the man had suddenly emerged, created by God (Creationism). Although the church later acknowledged that Galileo was right, that the Earth was millions of years old and had no objection to the theory of evolution, 4 days ago Pope Benedict XVI has returned to say that the mind of God was behind the Big Bang, opposing the idea that it was created by accident. Benedict XVI added that the creation of the universe means something profound, wisdom and creativity of the creator. For their part, scientists believe the universe formed 13.7 billion years ago, working hard at CERN (Geneva), to simulate the conditions that led to an early universe, from which emerged stars, planets and life. While some atheists argue that science will prove that God does not exist, Benedict XVI, argues that some scientific theories are limited because they do not explain the last sense of reality and that just contemplating the beauty of the universe we are led to God.

CREACIONISMO VERSUS EVOLUCIONISMO
