Care of children and long and healthy life.

I have just finished my tourist route of 3 days by Celendin, Sucre and Jose Galvez (North mountain range of Perú). Circumstance that I employed to visit my greater daughter and my first male grandson, who were also visiting Jose Galvez (See picture). It is that I encountered him something thinned (present weight: 18 kilos, 2 months ago: 22 kilos). They informed to me that he had episodes of UTI (urinary tract infection), 2 months ago and 7 days ago, respectively. In order to begin the UTIs in men are little frequent: 2%. When I read the treatment I found that he received Amikacina, parenterally, : 15 mg/Kg/Weight (being the recommended normal dose: 7,5mg). After correcting the dossage, I proceed to examine him, finding that his penis foreskin was large and very narrow retaining urine peripherically conditioning by reflux a UTI. With my daughter we made a plan so that he will be operated immediately (extirpation of the redundant foreskin), with the premise that after it, the ITUs, must disappear. Single in case, if the UTI reappear, we will analize the totality of his urinary tract, in search of anatomical malformations.

The case concerns us because in reason that we have some physicians relatives we have planned since 2 years ago a council medical plan (prevention), for children of near relatives, until the 5 years of life. Then, it is that our idea, is not the unique one because today Gina Kolata, editor of science of the NYorktimes, has begun to publish http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/30/health/30age.html?_r=1&ref=health&oref=slogin a series of articles around a healthful life beyond the 70 years old. I recommend its reading to all those that have 5 smaller children. In them Kolata, reports diverse works of American epidemiologists, that have found that the stature and weight of the American average has increased (65 to 80 kgs, 1,65m to 1,80m), something that never has happened before, at least in the last 7000 years. Several scientists within them the Dr Robert W. Vogel, affirm that to acquire a healthy, prolonged and useful life it depends right on the preventive measures medical that are adopted during the first 2 years of life, including the intrauterine life. After the birth matters to maintain an effective combat with antibiotics of by means, when it is necessary, implementation of vaccines and nutritional support of first line. Dr Vogel adds that chronic diseases like arteriosclerosis, senile dementia, arthritis, cardiovascular and pulmonary affections, attack people of between 40 and 50 who have not been a suitable preventive medical careful, before the 2 years of age. Aside from the mentioned thing it is also important in greater ages, the constant practices of sports, suitable nutrition and mental rest, trying to avoid social, familiar or stressing labor situations.

Cuidado medico infantil y vida util y prolongada.
