NOT SO DEEP IMPACT
Although they continue analyzing videos and spectrophotométric data, everything suggests that the impact of 2 ships (one 4 minutes after the other), it didn't produce enough spread debris on the lunar surface in order to detect water, hydroxyl compounds, salts, clays, hydrated minerals, and organic molecules. Although the first ship (5600 miles/h), hoped to unchain 350 tons of particles of lunar debris up to 10 km high, this was not visible in the images (see video). The instruments of the second ship identified a flash of the initial impact and a crater 20 km wide inserted in a previous crater 100 km wide: the Cabeus. The mission of the NASA known as LCROSS (Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite), consistent of an empty rocket and another small ship were directed toward the lunar south pole. Anthony Colaprete, main researcher of the LCROSS said that we could not trust the images totally. Some think that if the ships collided against rocky surface, the lunar particles would not reach enough height to be detected. Although the absence of lunar gravity could have played a role, it doesn't seem good for this type of missions, to have moon craters as targets.
IMPACTO NO TAN PROFUNDO
