THE MATRIX

THE MATRIX

With fidelity to the concepts of quantum physics that states that objects (solar systems, trains, snakes, etc) do not exist objectively, unless one chooses to observe using pre-established brain images (some of them inherited), Donald Hoffman (cognitive scientist/University of California-Irvine), argues that human perceptions (sound, smell, taste, etc.) coming from external reality, are false, being us not possible to perceive the real world, directly. We perceive only what our brains estimated as optimal in order to promote our fitness and survival in the external world. For some (bad) reasons (maybe like seen   in The Matrix or another), the true reality would be out of our reach. The final internal perceptions would be simulations produced by our brain of an external reality, being predictable our extinction as a specie, if our brain did not do this apparently dirty work. Hoffmann adds that many people involved in this area (neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychologists), are not   updated  in  modern physics, continue adapting the interpretation of their research to models of classical physics (absolute time, objects occupying immutable places in the space), arguing that brain properties are independent of quantum physic, that time is absolute, that objects have fixed locations in preexistent space, when the reality is that trains, snakes and brains do not exist in existing spaces, unless one decides to  observe them. Hoffmann also calls for independence in scientific experiments of the observer from the observed to understand how each individual builds his own world (and his own conscience) and interconnects them    through entanglement phenomenon with the large community of conscious human beings. He created a mathematical model of the observer to access to  the hidden reality from false brain perceptions, because mathematical functions describe adequately  the strategies of survival and reproduction, clarifying that modified brain perceptions are aimed at survival and not to  the truth (not necessary for survival). According to Hoffmann: trains, snakes, brains and others are descriptions created by the sensory systems of each individual to survive and ride out the consequences of their actions.

THE  MATRIX

ANOTHER GREAT STEP

BREAKTHROUGH STAR SHOT
If we wish to travel at higher speeds through  interstellar space, we must to bring our technology to the benchmark for excellence: the speed of light. Based on the previous, Stephen Hawking perfected the idea of Carl Sagan (boosting spacecraft with solar wind), to send into space an extremely light miniprobe, driven by thousands of laser rays emitted by an array of emitting laser light dispositives settled in land with a 100-gigawatt power in order to achieve the solar system  closest to our: Alpha Centauri (distant :4.3 light years from our solar system). While arriving at the edge of this tri-solar system with current technology, would take 30.000 years, according to the Russian billionaire Yuri Millner materialize the idea-project of Hawking: Breakthrough Star Shot, would permit to arrive to   Alpha Centauri in only 20 years. For Pete Worden  former NASA scientist, Head of the Project Breakthrough Star Shot, photon recoil would accelerate the speed of the miniprobe to ¼ or 1/5 of the speed of light, in 2 minutes, bringing this nano- ultralight craft (6 g total weight, containing 1 g starchip camera, laser communications, computer, nuclear battery, sensors, and others), to  Mars in 30 minutes and  to  Pluto in 3 days. According to Philip Lubin (University of California, Santa Barbara), while current rockets traveling under the principle of repulsion, eject gases, many probes and satellites use ion power as propellants. The miniprobes of Hawking, would use photons as propellants. These miniprobes would be transported with rockets into Earth orbit, where after spread its wings would be launched into space using lasers as propellants.

BREAKTHROUGH  STAR SHOT
