DREAMS

MODIFYING OUR DREAMS
Until recently there was skepticism regarding reports related to dreams, but lately it is accepted that these oneiric reports are direct reflections of dream’s processes (Windt, 2013, Wamsley, 2013, 2014). A recent important contribution has been  made by the Canadian psychologist Jane Gackenbach (McEwan University), who after studying dreams of young people who constantly play video games, argues that if young people propose  they can control their dreams (lucid dreams, during which sleepers are fully aware that they are dreaming and  can perform impossible activities: fly, cross walls, breathe underwater, have sex, improve their sports and spiritual skills), and successfully face threats against their lives in which case they do not flee,  but struggle, later changing his depressions in real life by other optimists, being able to infer that certain personal visions of real life are defectively visioned and limited. Already, Jung spoke of the possibility that dreams have healing possibilities (from the death of a depressed person to the rebirth of an optimistic person, during dreams), understood as a reemergence, change of brain chip, transformation towards a stronger person, happier and wiser. Although many studies have been conducted around the dream, what matters most in this area is to develop a theory that coherently explains the function and or meaning of them. At the moment, it is known that the brain is very active, during sleep and during this, the daily information served by the mind (perception, thought, consciousness, memory), is reprocessed to optimize and consolidate the memory system, in brain networks and that apparently during sleep, the mind remains "unconscious". Studies on lucid dreams continue; looking to establish from the beginning of a specific activity until the end, connections between the sleeper, eye signals and certain brain areas (La Berge, 1980). One goal is to establish communication from the outside (real life), with the sleeper in full lucid sleep. Johannes Strelen, has tried to establish this communication by sending simple mathematical problems by sounds in Morse code to the sleeper in lucid sleep, receiving correct answers in Morse code associated with eye movements. In these cases, the sleeper asks. What are you doing in my dream? It is also about increasing the number of lucid dreams analyzing environmental incongruities (asking yourself if you are dreaming at a certain moment: looking at your hands, counting your fingers). Some scientists argue that certain dreams are warnings of preparedness to face certain threats to our security, explanation similar to that given for the phenomenon: out of body (seen our  body from outside), explained as the expulsion of a virtual brain from our body in ways of being insulted in order to continue to control the whole of our soma without being harmed by the mortal threat. Our brain, a special supercomputer - perhaps a quantum type- controls every molecule of our body to the extent that the physical body threatened would be expelled virtually outside our soma, to continue controlling our body in a coherent way. If this theory were correct, where would this virtual brain go? to another dimension? Could we communicate with him? By what medium? Through the dream?
