THE DINOSAUROID

While there are millions of planets some of which could support life, imagination coupled to several anthropological findings sustains the existence of earthling humanoids and by inference any physical conformations of alien beings with intelligent technology. I) Some anthropologists argue that instead of one, there were several design plans to conform the Homo sapiens sapiens. That would be the Man of Pekin, H. Neanderthal, etc., each plan tending to the formation of an humanoid. II) Based on this premise some anthropologists and sci-fi writers have postulated the existence of aliens with human characteristics (humanoids), with the possibility that some had changed its conformation favoring evolutionarily their heads, eyes and nervous system at the expense of muscle and teeth, forming a clever dwarf.

III) But Richard Dawkins sustains that the possibility of formation of alien humanoids is very rare. Josh Timonen (R. Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science), adds that the chances of finding extraterrestrial humanoids is zero. Dawkins argues that from the millions of phyletic lineages in the earth, only primates developed technological intelligence, able to build a civilization. Dawkins adds that the conformation of bipedal primate was born in the minds of those who believe that man is the measure of all things. Robert Right (The Logic of Human Destiny), adds that our existence prevents the emergence of terrestrial intelligences of our level.

IV) Carl Sagan believed in the existence of techno advanced aliens with varied chemical structures, shapes, sizes and colors, populating air, sea and land, completely different from those of humans. Michael Shermer believes that the possibility of intelligent life in the cosmos is high, but the humanoid shape very low. V) Simon Conway Morris [University of Cambridge], supports the rare chance of bipedal aliens and Ed Wilson [Harvard University], argues that in the absence of the Cretaceous catastrophe, we would be witnessing today the emergence of a reptilian humanoid.

EL DINOSAUROIDE

En tanto existen millones de planetas algunos de los cuales podrían albergar vida, la imaginación unida a variados hallazgos antropológicos explora la existencia de posibles humanoides terráqueos y por inferencia las posibles conformaciones físicas de seres extraterrestres con inteligencia tecnológica. I) Algunos antropólogos sostienen en vez de uno, existieron varios planes tendientes a conformar al Homo sapiens sapiens actual. Ahí estarían el Hombre de Pekin, el H. Neardental, etc; cada plan tendiendo a la conformación de un humanoide. II) Partiendo de esta premisa algunos antropólogos y escritores de ciencia ficción han postulado la existencia de aliens con características humanas (humanoides), existiendo la posibilidad de que algunos hubiesen modificado evolutivamente su conformación privilegiando testa, ojos y sistema nervioso, en desmedro de músculos y dentadura, conformando un enano inteligente.

III) Empero y según Richard Dawkins la posibilidad de conformación de aliens humanoides es muy rara. Josh Timonen (R. Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science), agrega que las chances de encontrar humanoides extraterrestres es cero. Dawkins arguye que de los millones de linajes filéticos existentes en la tierra solo los primates desarrollaron inteligencia tecnológica, capáz de construir una civilización. Agrega Dawkins que la conformación de primate bipedal nace en las mentes de quienes creen que el hombre es la medida de todas las cosas. Robert Right (The Logic of Human Destiny), agrega que nuestra existencia impide la emergencia de inteligencias terrestres de nuestro nivel.

IV)Carl Sagan, planteó la existencia de aliens con estructuras químicas, formas tamaños y colores diferentes, en especies tecnológicamente avanzadas poblando aire, mar y tierra, totalmente distintas a las humanas. Michael Shermer cree que la posibilidad de vida inteligente en el cosmos es alta, pero la conformación humanoide muy baja. V) Simon Conway Morris [University of Cambridge], apoya sin embargo la rara posibilidad de aliens bipedales. Ed Wilson [Harvard University], arguye que de no haber existido la catástrofe del Cretácico, estaríamos asistiendo hoy a la emergencia de un humanoide reptiliano.

TALKING to ALIENS

If it depends on you, what kind of message, would you send to the space? I) One, as the previous graph (with binary digits: 1s and 0s, with rectangles and squares : white and black, designed in 1962, by Frank Drake/SETI), based on mathematical principles?. (1) Sun and 9 planets (2):C and O, with 6 and 8 electrons, respectively (3) numbers from 1 to 5, written in binary notatión (4) population of 3 planets, in binary system. The fourth planet : 4 thousand millions, seems to be the home of these species. (5) A biped form (10 feet, of high). The radial wave’s longitude (10 cm), is the basic unit of measure. According to, Douglas Vakoch, to communicate with totally different aliens civilizations, we must take care of to have something common (science and mathematics: arithmetic). Based on it, the SETI (1980), tries to communicate with extraterrestrial civilizatións, by means of transmission of electromagnetic radiations. A signal of narrow band, in a single point of radial scale, would be a signal of artificial origin. Marvin Minsky, of MIT, says that advanced extraterrestrial civilizations, should understand arithmetic to manage complex concepts. Louis Narens, of the University of California/Irvine, adds that such civilizations, would not necessarily manage general concepts of "natural numbers". It would be enough that they knows how to operate particular numbers. Therefore, we should not necessarily think in 'prime numbers' or 'binary form of decimal expansion of pi', like common base for communication with extraterrestrial". Or, perhaps, this other one, with math and graphics (Seth Shotak): II) called Pioneer Plate, on board the Pioneer 10 (rushed in 1972), with symbols, of a human civilization and its place of origin (The Earth). To the left and up: the spin of a molecule of H. To the left and below: radial lines, in binary system, leaving the Earth, toward important pulsars. In the inferior part: our solar System, with orderly planets according to their distance to the sun. Or, maybe this other one: III) plates of gold, driven by Voyager 1 and 2 (1977), carrying music of several cultures, greetings in 55 human languages, 115 images, explaining scientifically the localization of our Solar System, the measure units, characteristic of our body, the Earth and human society.

IV) Or, perhaps you will opt to send musical messages, just as the conceived by the astronomer Sebastian Von Hoerner: using a scale of 12 tones, based on polyphonic music (in which a note, sounds more than once), being able the octave to be divided in equals parts, with tones corresponding to those divisions, with specific mathematical ratios, from one to another interval. The western classic music uses a scale of 12 tones, allowing 5 harmonic obtained with the resonance of the other one. According to Von Hoerner, extraterrestrial with more sensitive auditory structures, can use the scale of 31 tones, as long as others with less sensibility in their auditory systems perhaps use 5 tones. V) Perhaps you lean for the employment of a code morse, with blasts of light with 2 different durations (short and large) : dit dit dit dit dit dit dah dah dah. In the other side of the field what to do if we were those that receives the extraterrestrial signals?, In that case, we must work in analogies (Egyptian jeroglifes, rhythms in form of circular planets, prime numbers able to become graphics, intents of musical communication with the extraterrestrial but near: the whales). VI) Also we must try to improve the communication among ourselves, without losing of view, that communications with other civilizations would improve our values. From our personal point of view, we are almost convinced of the possible existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. The existence of some very advanced civilizations would be possible as long as our solar system is very young. The fact that some science men, deny flatly this possibility, is not due to the lack of evidences, but to their deep anthropocentric vision and the demoralizing effect that would bear such encounters, especially if the technological gap in extraterrestrial favor, were abysmal.

COMUNICACION con EXTRATERRESTRES

¿Qué tipo de mensaje enviaría al espacio exterior, si ello dependiese de usted? I) Uno, como el grafico anterior (con 1s y 0s, con rectángulos y cuadrados: blancos y negros, diseñados en 1962, por Frank Drake/SETI), basado en principios matematicos?. (1) Sol y 9 planetas (2):C y O con 6 y 8 electrones respectivamente (3) números del uno al cinco, escritos en notación binaria (4) población de 3 planetas, en sistema binario. El cuarto planeta : 4 mil millones, parece ser el hogar de estas especies. (5) Forma bípeda (10 pies, de alto). La longitud de onda de la señal de radio (10 cm), es la unidad básica de medida. Segun, Douglas Vakoch, para comunicarse con civilizaciones completamente diferentes, importa contar con algo en común (ciencia y matematicas : aritmética). Basandose en ello, el SETI (1980), trata de comunicarse con civilizaciónes extraterrestres, valiéndose de transmisiónes de radiaciones electromagnéticas. Una señal de banda estrecha, en un solo punto de la escala radial, seria de origen artificial. Marvin Minsky, del MIT, opina que civilizaciones extraterrestres avanzadas, deben comprender la aritmética (base de conceptos complejos). Louis Narens, de la Universidad de California/Irvine, agrega que tales civilizaciones, no siempre manejarían conceptos generales de “números naturales”. Bastaría que operasen números naturales particulares. Por tanto, no debiésemos necesariamente pensar en ‘números primos’ o ‘formas binarias de la expansión decimal de pi’, como base común para la comunicación con extraterrestres”. O, tal vez, este otro, con matematicas y graficos (Seth Shotak): II) denominada Placa Pioneer, a bordo del Pioneer 10 (lanzado en 1972), con simbolos, de una posible civilización humana y su lugar de procedencia (La Tierra). A la izquierda y arriba : el spin de una molécula de H. Izquierda y abajo: haz de líneas radiales, en sistema binario, partiendo de la Tierra, hacia pulsares importantes. En la parte inferior : nuestro Sistema solar, con planetas ordenados según su distancia al Sol. O, quizás esta otra :III) placas de oro, conducidas por las Voyager 1 y 2 (1977), portando música de varias culturas, saludos en 55 idiomas humanos, 115 imágenes, explicando científicamente la localización de nuestro Sistema Solar, las unidades de medida, características de nuestro cuerpo, la Tierra y sociedad humana.

IV) O, tal vez opte por enviar mensajes musicales, como lo concibiera el astrónomo Sebastian Von Hoerner : empleando una escala de doce tonos, basada en música polifónica (en la que una nota, suena más de una vez), pudiendo la octava dividirse en partes iguales, con tonos correspondientes a esas divisiones, con ratios matemáticos específicos, de uno a otro intervalo. La música clásica occidental emplea una escala de 12 tonos, permitiendo 5 armónicos logrados con la resonancia del otro. De acuerdo a Von Hoerner, extraterrestres con procesamientos auditivos hipersensibles, pudiesen usar la escala de 31 tonos, en tanto que otros con menos sensibilidad, tal vez usen la de 5 tonos. V) Tal vez se decida usted por emplear un código morse, con ráfagas de luz con 2 duraciones distintas (cortas y largas): dit dit dit dit dit dit dah dah dah. Al otro lado del escenario ¿que debiésemos hacer si fuésemos nosotros los receptores de las señales extraterrestres? Debiesemos trabajar desde ahora, con analogías (jeroglifos egipcios, ritmos en forma de planetas circulares, números primos capaces de convertirse en graficos, intentar comunicarnos musicalmente con los extratrrestres mas cercanos :las ballenas). VI) Tambien seria adecuado mejorar la comunicacion entre nosotros mismos, sin perder de vista que las comunicaciones con otras civilizaciones perfeccionarían nuestros valores. Desde el punto de vista personal, estamos en el bando de los casi convencidos de la existencia de civilizaciones extraterrestres. La posible existencia de algunas superavanzadas, no nos es ajena, en tanto nuestro sistema solar es muy joven. El que algunos hombres de ciencia, nieguen rotundamente esta posibilidad, no se debe a la falta de evidencias, sino a su profunda visión antropocéntrica y al efecto desmoralizador de tales encuentros, especialmente si las distancias tecnológicas a favor de los extraterrestres, fuesen abismales.
