EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE AND ACETYLENE
European scientists are beginning to be convinced that on Titan, Saturn's moon, there would be conditions for harboring extraterrestrial life, as there would exist a tandem : food-highly specialized microorganisms. For Daniel Cordier (Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie. Rennes France), the information extracted from the probe "Cassini" and the capsule "Huygens, which landed on Titan in 2005, permit to conclude that on Titan, there are lakes and oceans of methane and ethane, temperatures of -180 degrees Celsius and sufficient amounts of acetylene (energy for microorganisms). According to Jonathan Lunine (University of Arizona, Tucson), just 1% of acetylene to generate life on Titan.

VIDA EXTRATERRESTRE y ACETILENO
