Chajrauma.

Several photos extracted from sports page peruvian magazines (to see The Trome 01/01/2007), showed the shaved scalp of the player Jose Mendoza Zambrano, steering wheel of the Sporting Cristal (Premier League of Football of Peru) exhibiting a series of pads of his scalp separated by furrows or plicatures, similar to land tilled (chajrauma in quechua). We advance that the player should have a father or a mother of aymara or quechua ancestry, in the meantime the 50% of Peruvians native resident in Puno of quechua or aymara origin possess this total or partly genetic characteristic. For us chajrauma is a genetic adaptation tending toward dissipating the side effects of solar rays of great altitude (over 3500 m above sea level). Histologically these areas exhibit hypertrophy of conjunctive tissue, condensed around hairy foliculles and sebaceous glands (to see: Medicina Prehispánica Peruana: Capitulo : Dermatologia Prehispánica).
